Issifou A. is 33 years old and the married father of 3 children. Two of his children are enrolled in primary school and one works with him in his store. To provide for his family, Issifou opened a general store in Adèta, a medium-sized town located about 150 kilometers from Lomé, the capital of Togo. He sells a variety of items ranging from candies, soap and canned goods to prepaid cellphone cards. His store is located in the center of town and bustles with activity.
With this loan, Issifou would like to replenish his stock and also enlarge his inventory. He hopes that by increasing his commercial activity he can respond to the needs of his family and to continue to participate in the development of his community.
