Volonté Plus Group's story

Musau is a leader of a Community bank named “Volonté Plus”, which means "Will" in English, and is composed of 14 micro-entrepreneurs united in solidarity to receive loans from Kiva through IMF HOPE RDC with the goal of developing their businesses.

Musau is 39 years old, married, and has eight children aged 2 to 21. She has been active in her business since 2006. She sells seeds of corn to the east of Kinshasa. She is dedicated to her business which generates a profit of about $130 per week. Her business is the only source of income she has to support her family. Musau has already received and successfully repaid fifteen loans from the MFI HOPE DRC.

She is planning with the coming loan to purchase seeds of corn of good quality that are needed by her clients in order to generate more profit. Her dream is to have a big corn field.
