A loan of $375 helped to purchase bags of potatoes, tomatoes, onions and fruits.

Riziki's story

Riziki is taking out another Kiva loan of KES 30,000 to boost her fruits and vegetables stall business. Riziki tells us that there are products she does not have and that are highly sought after by people who come to this market so she wants to invest in the purchase of lots of her fruit and vegetable stand in order to satisfy a larger clientele.

Her only way of doing this is accessing a loan which will be her fourth with Yehu Microfinance Trust which is the intermediary institution for this loan transaction. She is considered to be a good client because of her punctuality with payments and because her business has improved considerably.
