Anonymous Group's story

The client (raising her hand in the photo) is the leader of the credit association Alleluya. She is on her fourth loan cycle. She is 41 years old and the mother of 8 children who all attend school. Her husband is a university student.

She started her small retail business using her own funds. Later on, she joined the microfinance institution Hekima and its micro-credit program. She regularly displays her various goods at a small market located in her neighborhood, and locally known as the Trois paillotes - Axe Katindo market.

With this loan, Amani will buy 10 crates of Fanta, some flour, Omo soap detergent, oil etc.

She also sells oil (petroleum) from home to supplement her income.

She says that she would like to receive additional credit in order to increase her turnover and build a house for her family.

She thanks the microfinance institution Hekima for granting her loans without requesting any material collateral. It is indeed thanks to these loans that she has been able to buy kitchen utensils and to take care of her family's needs, and that her children can study comfortably.
