A loan of $2,875 helped to purchase livestock.

Gulzada's story

Gulzada is 32 years old. She is a widow and bringing up two children of school age on her own. Gulzada works as a secondary school teacher, and, as additional source of financing, she also raises livestock, having launched this business in 2000. Thanks to Gulzada’s hard work, her farm, which had been started with 10,000 KGS, has grown. Now Gulzada has 20 heads of sheep and goats, which brings in a monthly income of 10,000 KGS.

In order to develop her business further, Gulzada turned to “Bai Tushum & Partners” for a loan in the amount of 135,000 KGS for purchasing additional livestock. Gulzada plans to invest the resulting revenues into expanding her farm further, so as to be able to save some money for the education of her children in the future.
