Frente A La Capillita Group's story

This group is called “In Front of the Steeple”. It is made up of six women from the city of Pinotepe Nacional, Oaxaca. One of their foods of this region is called “coloradito de ti chindas” which are purple mussels that they fish in the lagoons. One of the members of this group is Mrs. Alberta Eugenia, also known as Mrs. Alberta. She is a friendly, creative and hardworking woman.
Mrs. Alberta sells Mexican food such as enchiladas verdes, tostadas, quesadillas, chicken tostadas, cheese empenadas and torts. What she likes most about her business is to cook and to surprise her customers with a desert that they like. Her customers are happy to try her dishes.
Some of the characteristics a person needs to have, in order to do Mrs. Alberta’s job, are to be friendly, active, clean and over all cheerful in order to cheer up the customers.
One of the things she likes the best is to continue with her business and make it grow. Each day her business grows a little more with the help of Vision Found. She is able to buy more ingredients in order to make her Mexican dishes.
The other members of the group are:
Leonarda- sells prepared food
Patricia- sells shoes
Araceli- sells shoes
Rafaela- sells tortillas
St. Brigid- sells clothes
They are thankful to Vision Found for their support of all of these humble women who hope to succeed.
