Vicky Katherine
Vicky is 21 years old. She lives in the Buena Fe canton of Quevedo. She sells bed netting, sheets, and towels. She is married to Victor who works for himself as a taxi driver. They live in her parents’ house which is made of cement. They have basic services and space until they can purchase their own home. Vicky tells us that she has had her business for 2 years and started when she got married. Her husband gave her the capital to get started. She sells her merchandise from home or traveling around the city in her husband's car to sell at different locations. She uses the car when her husband is able and not very busy, from 8 in the morning until the night. She has not had any problems so far and hopes that continues. With this loan she plans to stock up on merchandise and to be able to sell outside of the city. She would also like to obtain a display case to show her products at home. She hopes that in a few years she will have her own home because very soon she will have a baby and start her family. Congratulations Vicky!!!
