Bunthorn is 62 years old and lives in Kandal Province, Cambodia. She is widowed and blessed with a daughter. She has been involved in growing agricultural crops and vegetables for more than two years, earning approximately $8 per day. Her daughter is a garment worker who earns about $4 per day. Bunthorn is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase bamboo to build a trellis for cultivating cucumbers and bitter gourds. This money will help her expand her business and generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more comfortable for her family.
