A loan of $250 helped to buy farm supplies.

Salvador's story

Salvador, 62, is a very enterprising man. He has 25 years’ experience working in agriculture. He lives with his wife who does household chores and their three children who help their father plant the seeds and to provide all necessary care to produce an excellent harvest. Salvador has a parcel of land where he grows various basic grains that he stores in cylindrical stainless steel silos. He subsequently sells the grain to various customers who buy at wholesale. This is a business that has allowed him to have everything necessary for 25 years. He’s asking for a loan to have the money needed to buy larger amounts of manure, corn and pesticides as well as to pay labor costs to hull the corn. This will allow him to do better work and obtain higher profits while providing a source of employment for others which is very important to Salvador.
