A loan of $850 helped to purchase merchandise like linens, perfume, shoes, and miscellaneous items, and two display cases to display them in.

Elizabeth Del Carmen's story

WIth her previous loan, Elizabeth bought merchandise like shoes, flip-flops, clothing, and underwear, among other things, and a display case where she can exhibit it all. This has been extremely useful for her business; her sales have increased, and she has better infrastructure and a stock of inventory that allow her to satisfy her customer's needs.

With her business earnings, she has also improved her living conditions; she made some repairs to her apartment, which in turn improved her quality of life.

Currently, she is requesting another Kiva loan with the aim of investing in the purchase of two more display cases and a variety of other merchandise like linens, perfumes, and miscellaneous articles that her customers have been asking for.

Her greatest dream is to continue growing her business to increase her income and be able to help her children become professionals. Today she is very pleased and sends the following message to her lenders: "Thank you for the support, because with it I have been able to reach the objectives I've laid out, little by little."
