A loan of $700 helped to pay for products and grocery items needed in her business.

Nilda's story

This is Nilda, 46, resident of Bacoor, Cavite City, Philippines. She is single, and currently working hard to sustain her daily needs and to pay for her own electricity.

Nilda operates a market stall. She sells vegetables, raw products and condiments in the community market. She buys bulk quantities of vegetable products and other common items used in cooking and sells per kilo or per piece. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of Php 800 in sales every day.

To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a Php 30,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy more vegetable products and condiments to expand her product inventory. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.

Nilda hopes that her business will continue to be successful. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
