Roeurng is 54 years old. She is married and blessed with a son in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been running a food store for more than 10 years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about $2 per day. Her son is a motor mechanic. He earns about $3 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Roeurng is requesting a loan of $500 to raise capital in her business to purchase more ingredients and utensils to use in her store. This money will help her expand her business and earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and build a new kitchen to provide hygienic living conditions for her family.
