A loan of $3,100 helped a member to buy more cosmetics and to start building a small house.


Mloganzila Group's story

William, who is in his late twenties, is married with two children who are still small. He has had a business of selling cosmetics for two years now. He works from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily and is able to make a small monthly profit. This will be his second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loan to buy more cosmetics and for household expenses and has paid back his loan successfully. He hopes for a loan to buy more cosmetics and to start building a small house. His dream is to one day be able to build and finish his small house. He will share this loan with his loan group "Mloganzila", which has a total of sixteen members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
