The borrower is a client of MFI Hekima and the president of theis business group called Tuchukuliane. She is 46 years old, married, and the mother of 11 children, of whom one is deceased. All her children study. Her husband is a teacher. She sells palm oil. She began her business with her own money received from her husband. Later on, she got additional funds through a loan from MFI Hekima, around the year 2002, after the eruption of the Nyiragongo volcano.

She displays her products at the market. She has taken out and repaid 21 loans with the Hekima program. This latest loan will serve to allow her to buy six jerrycans of palm oil for resale. Moreover, she aspires to buy a plot of land and build a nice house. This client salutes Hekima's initiative in its work with poor women who don't have access to conventional banking services.
