Mwange Group

A loan of $5,025 helped a member increase his working capital, buy lots of cans of palm oil for sale, and earn more.

Mwange Group's story

Cyriaque is part of the Mwange group and lives in Rumonge, a community belonging to the Bujumbura district. He is 33 years old and is married to Devote, who is a trader of vegetables. Together they have three children, aged 3 weeks to 5 years.

He has been trading palm oil for the past 18 years.

This is his first credit loan with Turame. With the loan obtained from Kiva he will increase his working capital and buy lots of cans of palm oil for resale, so as to earn more.

In coming years, he would like to buy a plot of land, some farmland, and see his children pursue and complete their studies.
