A loan of $400 helped to buy corn seed for planting.

María Celsa's story

María Celsa is 41 years old. She is well-known in her town for being a very friendly and responsible person who has had to work very hard to get ahead. She lives alone in her own house, and since her husband died she has taken the reins of the business of growing corn, which she sells from her house and also in stores. She also raises chickens, which sell at very good prices. María is requesting a loan from Integral so that she can buy a larger amount of corn for planting. She will also hire a person to help her with the heavy work of planting. María’s greatest wish is to be able to count on having a stable life and to save so that she have a comfortable old age, one where she can provide for herself, instead of having to depend economically on other people.
