Ny is 43 years old. She is a mother of one son. She resides, with her husband, in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in producing palm sugar for more than ten years, earning approximately $8 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. Her son is a construction worker who earns about $4 per day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Ny is requesting a loan of $625 to purchase a motorbike to commute. This purchase will enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more comfortable for her family.
