Margarita Florinda

A loan of $2,475 helped to buy spare parts for pumps.

Margarita Florinda's story

Margarita Florinda, 37, distinguishes herself as a kind and hardworking indigenous woman, a native of the city of Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca. One of the handicrafts most representative of this city are the wood masks of different animals painted in brilliant colors.

Margarita, as she is better known, has sold spare parts for pumps for eight years. She mentions that she has a small store in her community where she shows and sells her merchandise. Margarita has two children, Dulce and Pedro, who spend their time with their mother in the business when they get out of school. One of Margarita's dreams is to have a store where she can sell irrigation systems, because she loves everything related to agriculture.

She requested the loan to buy more spare parts for pumps. She thanks Vision Fund for helping her, for being part of her business, and above all for helping her to get her income.
