A loan of $2,525 helped a member to buy extractors and blenders.

Concentidas Group's story

The communal bank LAS CONCENTIDAS is formed by nine members; seven women and two men. The president of the bank is Carolina. She is 40 years old and is single with a nine year old son. She makes a living selling juices on her stall which is located in the Villa Paraíso area.

This loan is her first cycle with this MFI. Carolina will use this loan to buy extractors and blenders to make juices for her business. Her reason for requesting this loan is to extend her business and offer more variety of juices to her customers. Carolina faces challenges in her business and needs to buy extractors and blenders. She is going to use the profits to continue equipping her business and so generate more profits. Carolina is a very hard working person who gets her family ahead on her own. This is the only business activity she carries out.

She feels happy for the opportunity that has been given to her as do the other group members, some of whom also look after their family's on their own.

In this group: Carolina, Victoria, Marcial, Benancia, Margarita, Dionicia, Fernando, Deisy, Maria Elena
