Las Divinas Group's story

The committee "Las Divinas," thanks to its effort and collective support, is in its fifteenth loan cycles of the Enterprising Women Program of Fundación Paraguaya. It has 18 members from the city of Asunción, where they all make sacrifices every day to give their families a different future from the one that befell the members themselves, so they could be men and women who are useful to society.

Ezequiela is the group's chair and comments that, thanks to her work and her sacrifice, she has been able to help her family and give them a worthy life. She is a dressmaker and comments that she began with a small dressmaking workshop which she has, with much effort, been gradually expanding. Today it is a very successful microenterprise.

She is seeking the loan for the purchase of cloth, thread, needles, glue and other supplies necessary for her to continue working. Ezequiela and her group are grateful for the help they receive from Fundación Paraguaya and from Kiva.
