Marine's story

Marine is 49 years old. She lives in a small village in the Sagarejo District with her family: husband – David, 25-year-old son, daughter-in-law and mother-in-law, who is a pensioner. Her husband is a driver. He drives a tractor and helps the local population with their agricultural activities. He gets a service fee for the work. The family earns their living through an agricultural business. They have six pigs and 12 piglets. They sell piglets on the local open market. The total average monthly income of the family is 1000 Lari. Marine requested a loan for purchasing food for the pigs. Marine is a very hard working woman; she keeps her livestock in good condition and takes good care of them. Marine will purchase quality, natural food for piglets. As a result of the loan, the family will be able to keep their pig farm running and receive the planned income, which is the main source of income for the family.
