Sien is 53 years old. She is married and blessed with one child in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice and cassava for more than twenty years, earning approximately $7 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. Her child is employed in a garment factory and earns about $3 per day. In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Sien is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase fertilizer and cassava plant to cultivate. This money will help her expand her business and earn more money to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business in order to generate more profit to support the family.
