Saly is 43 years old. She is a mother of three children and resides with her husband in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in an agricultural business for more than twenty years, has an extensive experience, and is successful in her career. She is involved in growing rice and fattening up cattle. Her husband helps her run the business. She earns approximately $4 per day. Her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $8 per day.
In order to improve her family's finances, Saly is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase a harvester to use for harvesting her crops as well as for rental. By doing so, she would be able to generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and rebuild her present house to make it more convenient for her family.
