Mercedes lives here, she is 39 years old and is in a long term relationship from which she has two children, 16 and 11 years old, who both go to secondary school. Her husband is a baker.

Our friend, along with her family, has had a bakery in her home for more than 10 years and every day they make their delicious bread in various shapes and flavors. She tells us that they are up with the dawn to bake the bread and that their clients arrive starting at five in the morning in order to get bread, an indispensable food on Ecuadorian tables.

This loan is to purchase flour, sugar and other ingredients used to make bread. She has been with the community bank for more than 5 years and she likes being in the group.

Her dream is to continue to grow her business and improve her family's life.
