A loan of $750 helped to travel to the city to buy a greater variety of styles and sizes of clothing to sell.

Edgar's story

Edgar is 32 years old and is a very active and hard-working man. He lives in his own house which is made from wood. He has a partner and a small son of 11 years, Eder, who he wants to give the best quality of life for his future.

He has worked selling clothing for the past 14 years. He does this work from his home, and he has the help of his partner, who also takes charge of sales. What he likes best about his activity is the sharing the moments of joy with his customers when they choose their clothes. At the same time, the thing he considers hardest is traveling to the city of Lima (the capital) to buy good merchandise. On the other hand, he says that his work is profitable because he has good income and because his clients prefer him because of his good taste in clothing.

His plans for the future are to continue growing in his work and to have a better quality of life. This is his eighth loan with MFP and he is happy that he receives this help from people who trust in his work. He is an upright member of his communal bank and he thanks the other members for being trustworthy people. With the 2000 nuevos soles of this loan he will stock more clothing, traveling to the city to buy a variety of styles and sizes.
