A loan of $1,000 helped to pay for a diploma in legal studies to improve her income and make her family more comfortable.

Cecilia's story

Cecilia is divorced and has two children. She lives in her parents’ house, occupying two rooms with brick walls. The house is located in the Miraflores area of the city of La Paz.

She currently gets income because she works for over eight hours in a public company in the city of La Paz. This is the only income that she has to pay for food, education, and basic services for her family.

She needs the loan to pay for a diploma in legal studies. This way she will improve her income in order to support her children.

Cecilia’s dream is to improve her income and to buy a house. She will do this to make her children more comfortable and safer.

This is the second time she has worked with IMPRO and the first time with Kiva.
