Gongolamboto One Group's story

Jeska is in her late thirties and is married with three children who go to school. She has been a food vendor for five years. She works from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be her 6th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to pay school fees, purchase a radio and cover household expenses; she has paid back all her loans successfully. She wants a loan to increase her food stocks and pay for school fees. Her dream is to one day be able to build her own house.

She will share this loan with her loan group, Gongolamboto One, which has 17 members who hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
