Irma Violeta's story

Irma, 62 years old, is a widow and her children are now independent. She lives in the agricultural district of Oyotún, an area over an hour from the city of Chiclayo, which is in the Lambayeque region.

She works at a bar and restaurant that has been set up in her home for over 40 years. There, she offers diverse dishes and drinks to her customers. The good attention and good seasoning with which she prepares food have made her business one of the preferred places in the area. With this business, she and her husband moved their family forward and now she maintains in in memory of him. From this business, she earns the necessary income to pay her expenses.

Irma wants to remodel her bar and restaurant to give the business a new look, so that her customers feel more at home and so she can increase her demand. This is why she has requested her first loan of 2000 nuevo soles from Edpyme Alternativa so that she can achieve her objective.
