A loan of $1,125 helped to buy balanced feed to fatten her animals and make improvements in her pens.

Anabelisa's story

Anabelisa is 55 years old and is a mother. She lives with her husband and her minor son in one of the settlements that make up the rural area of the agricultural district of Tambogrande in the region of Piura. The area produces fruits such as mango and lemons. The majority of the rural communities do not have basic services, as is the case with Anabelisa's community, which only has electricity.

Anabelisa has made a living for more than four years raising and selling sheep and poultry. She raises these animals in pens located close to her house. She feeds them grain and natural pasturage and when they have reached an adequate size and weight she sells them in the local market. The income she receives from this activity goes towards helping her husband, who is a farmer, to maintain their family.

She is requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa for 3,000 PEN which she will use to buy balanced feed to fatten her animals and to make improvements in her pens. This will allow her animals to grow in the best way possible so that they can be sold at a better price. In this way she will be able to grow as a businesswoman and obtain a better quality of life.

Anabelisa is quite a hard working and responsible woman. She is grateful to the people who will help her with this loan.
