A loan of $400 helped to buy a pressure washer.

Rosendo's story

To have three good pressure washers to serve the demand for vehicles that need to be cleaned, to have his own shop, and to have it well equipped: this is one of Rosendo's dreams that he plans to achieve little by little, through painstaking, responsible and combined work.

In the municipality where he lives with his wife and four children, ages 6 to 9, he is well-known because he does bricklaying and painting, but as with any trade, there are slack times, and this occupation doesn't provide him the opportunity for a steady income. That's why, jointly with his brother-in-law and his brother, he took up the task of providing a service washing vehicles and motorcycles.

This business that has gone very well and has awakened high expectations in all of them for growing as entrepreneurs. But they are facing the challenge of not having sufficient working capital to achieve productivity improvements and increase their ability to compete. This is why he is applying for a credikiva loan, his first from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo.

Through the loan, he will buy a pressure washer, to start on the path toward the growth he hopes for, in a potential market that awaits, and where he has his mind set on earning money. This is in order that his family can achieve their dreams for the success that they have set their minds on, centering on high quality education, as is also Rosendo's aim.
