A loan of $1,200 helped to buy beans and rice to plant.

Elba Del Rosario's story

Elba del Rosario has made her living through farming and livestock for all her life. She inherited the profession from her parents, who taught her to perform to perfection. She lives with her mother of very advanced age, who in spite of this helps her with the daily activities both in the house and business. She also lives her her little niece, who depends on her completely. She plants rice and beans, which are basic grains that sell very well in this country. Thanks to this business she has just recently been able to get ahead with her little family. Elba is requesting a loan from INTEGRAL in order to be able to grow her business, buying a herd of milk cows, with which she hopes to increase her sales and her clientele by selling not only the livestock that she cares for but also milk. In this way, she will also increase her sale of basic grains. With these gains she is sure she will be able to pay back the requested loan.
