A loan of $750 helped to put the finishing touches on the room where he and his family live.

Rower Kenyo's story

Rower is a young man, 20 years old, who lives in the city of Ica in Santiago district, along with his partner and their young daughter who was born two months ago. Despite his young age, Rower is very enthusiastic and hard-working. He is very happy about the birth of his baby, and he plans to dedicate his greatest effort to make sure she doesn't lack anything. In his free time, he likes to watch educational programs and sometimes he enjoys preparing his favorite dish, the rich "Arroz con Pollo" [rice and chicken], and spending pleasant moments with his family.

With great care, Rower finished his secondary studies. Unfortunately, for economic reasons he could not go on to study Business Administration like he wanted to, but he dreams of doing so one day. Thanks to his desire to get his family ahead, Rower works at a construction business in the city. He works approximately ten hours a day and is well liked at his job for his friendliness and good work.

Rower is grateful for the help that Kiva lenders are offering him. Thanks to their support, he will be able to complete the finishing touches needed on the room where he and his family live. These finishing touches are: painting, windows, flooring, and others. This way, little by little and thanks to his work, he hopes to be able to buy a plot of land to build his own house so he can offer greater comfort and a better quality of life to his family, especially his little girl.
