A loan of $750 helped to buy supplies for his brick manufacturing business.

Isaac's story

Isaac, 52, is a widower. He, two of his children and a grandchild live in Cascajal, a rural area in Lambayeque district that is an hour or so from the city of Chiclayo. There are about 150 families in Cascajal and they only got electricity and clean water services recently.

Isaac has operated a brick manufacturing business for twenty years. He learned the business from his parents and knows it inside and out. He supplements his earnings from brick manufacturing with a farming business. The combined income is enough to support his family.

Isaac is applying for a loan that he will use to buy the supplies he needs to increase his production of bricks. He is asking Edpyme Alternativa for a 2000 new soles loan so that he can meet a growing demand for bricks here. Isaac is a responsible man who wants to provide for his family. You can see him in the phone with the kiln that he uses to make his bricks.
