Bazarbu's story

Bazarbu is 43 years old, married, with three children. Since 2007, Bazarbu has been raising livestock and working the land, in order to earn a living for her family. At present Bazarbu's farm includes 14 sheep, 12 goats and a land plot of 1.58 ha [about 4 acres], where she grows cotton and corn. Her monthly income from selling agricultural products is 15,000 KGS. In order to develop her business further, Bazarbu turned to "Bai Tushum& Partners" for a loan in the amount of 135,000 KGS so as to buy cattle for fattening and resale. Bazarbu plans to use the resulting income for her children's education.
