Neang S. is a 24 year-old housewife in Kampong Cham province. Her husband, Chren Sangbong, is a vendor who sells cashew nuts in stock through a local market. His business brings in about 7 USD daily to support her and their only child.

She wants to use her loan to purchase a larger stock of cashews for her husband to sell and thereby increase his profits. If he can generate enough additional revenue, they would like to expand to sell both cashews and yams in bulk over the border to Vietnam.
