A loan of $375 helped to buy drinks and coal for sale.

Musy's story

Musy is 22 years of age. She is an enterprising and dynamic woman, as well as being friendly and happy. She is single, and lives with her parents and three siblings.

She works selling drinks from her home, and has a refrigerator to do so. She started this business two years ago with her own capital, which she obtained from her savings, buying small quantities of drinks and selling coal with her father. She thinks that her business is fairly profitable because of the demand for the drinks in the hot area where she lives, and she makes a good profit. Thanks to this she wants to continue with her business, extending it so that she can have a soda distribution business in the future.

This is Musy’s second loan with the MFP institution. She is grateful for the financial support given, which helps her progress with her business. She is therefore committed to being punctual with her loan repayments, so that she has a good credit history. She also feels good about her communal bank, as she knows the members and thinks they are good people.

With the requested loan of 1,000 nuevos soles, Musy plans to buy more sodas at wholesale prices. She also wants to buy more coal to sell in her father’s stall in the market.
