Victoire Plus Group's story

Gabriel is the manager of the group “Victoire Plus” which means Love in English made up of 20 members firmly united to receive loans from the MFI (micro-finance institution) HOPE RDC in order to develop their businesses.

Gabriel is involved in selling cans of oil at the market located east of Kinshasa. He has been a micro entrepreneur since 2001. He likes his business and he is working hard to achieve his goal of one day becoming an oil provider in his area.

He intends to use the next loan to increase the inventory of his business goods to resell with the aim of increasing his profits. Each week, his business generates a profit of about US $100. Fifty years old, Gabriel is married and has four children aged between 12 and 25 and all of them go to school.
