A loan of $875 helped a member to buy milk.

Mussarat's Group's story

Mussarat is married and a mother of two sons and two daughters. Her eldest son is illiterate, while the other children are studying. She runs a sewing business from her home. She is very skillful and receives regular orders every month. Her husband is a milk seller. He purchases milk from the village and sells to his clients to earn a profit. Mussarat has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for further expansion of her husband’s business. With the loan investment he will buy milk in larger quantities that will allow him to earn more profits when he sells to his clients. He has been operating his business for the past many years and Mussarat is hopeful that the loan will help his business to be more productive.
