Damira's story

Damira is 56 years old. 12 years ago Damira began raising livestock as a primary source of income for her family. Thanks to Damira's hard work and persistence, the business that she started with and initial sum of 50,000 som currently includes 4 cows, one horse and 10 heads of sheep and goats and brings an income of about 15,000 som per month. To further develop her business, Damira has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock for fattening and resale. She plans to invest profits from this loan into further expansion of her business into agriculture - planting garlic and potatoes.
