Mujeres Virtuosas 2 Group's story

The "Mujeres Virtuosas 2" group in Ciudad del Este has 18 members, and all of them work within a framework of solidarity and respect. They have joined together with the aim of helping their families, and in that way being able to move forward in life. The group is in the second loan cycle, and their wish is to reach the program's highest level.

Digna is the group's chairperson, and tells us that she tries to motivate her fellow group members so that they always strive for their goals and objectives. Digna sells all types of food, which she herself prepares. She begins from an early hour, and it is thanks to that work that she is able to help her family with day-to-day expenses.

She is applying for the loan in order to buy greens, meats, ham, cheese, and other ingredients, so that she can continue making her meals.

In this group: Digna, Herminia, Petrona, Ramona, Sebastiana, Dominga, Julia, Elena, Francisca, Teodolina, Isabel, Daniela, Silvia, Pofiria, Graciela, Gladys, Angelica, Crisolina
