A loan of $2,125 helped to purchase livestock.

Anarkul's story

Anarkul is 55 years old, and widowed. As the main source of income for supporting her family, Anarkul has been working in animal husbandry since 1979, when she started her business by purchasing one cow and five sheep. Today Anarkul's business counts 24 sheep and goats, two cows, four calves, and brings in about 10,000 somi (KGS) a month through the sale of milk and dairy products.

To further develop her business, Anarkul has asked Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 somi (KGS) to buy more livestock. Anarkul plans to invest the proceeds from the loan into expanding her business in the future.
