A loan helped a member to spend on land plowing and labor fees.

Neah's Group's story

Neah is 49 years old and is widowed with seven children, three of whom are staying with the family and still in school.

Neah earns a living by growing cassava, which is a common business in her village in the Dambae district. The main problem for her family is not having sufficient food to eat.

Neah first joined VisionFund in 2011. Up until now, she has obtained two loans. She is now applying for a third loan after paying the second loan off completely. As a group leader, Neah plans to use her portion to spend on land plowing and labor fees.

She hopes this loan will enable her to generate more income, so she is able to feed her family better and send all her children to school.
