A loan of $2,875 helped expand her inventory.

Mukhabat's story

Mukhabat is 59 years old, married, and has two children. In 1990, in search of a source of income for her family, Mukhabat began her own business selling women's knitted wear at the market with an initial 10,000 som (KGS) investment. Thanks to her persistence and hard work, Mukhabat succeeded in developing the company, and now earns a monthly income of 40,000 som (KGS). Her inventory is currently limited so Mukhabat turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a 135,000 som (KGS) loan. Mukhabat plans to use part of her profits to buy materials for repairs to her home, and part for business development.
