A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase small livestock.

Nurjan's story

Nurjan is 40 years old and a single mother of 2 children. She has been raising livestock since 2005, having launched her business with an initial sum of 5,000 som. Thanks to her persistent work, Nurjan's herd currently has 1 dairy cow with offspring and 20 sheep, while her income from sales of milk to the local dairy plant amounts to around 15,000 som (KGS) per month.

In order to continue developing her business, Nurjan has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 70,000 som (KGS) to buy additional goats and sheep. She plans to use a part of her profits from this loan to repair her apartment, and to reinvest the remainder into her business.
