Théogène is part of the Dushyirehamwe/Kzr group. The name of the group means “our strengths together”. He is 40 years of age and married with six children aged between three months and 16 years of age. Five of his children are at school. Théogène has six years of primary school education.

Théogène is a rice grower. This is his second loan cycle with ACB. He plans to use his loan to buy chemical fertilizer and pay the labor expenses for his rice-growing business.

To expand his rice-growing business he plans to request other loans. Over the coming years he would like to expand his rice paddies to satisfy market demand. With his profits he plans to pay his children’s school fees and his family’s medical expenses.
