A loan of $1,150 helped to buy eggs.

Afi's story

Afi is a 44-year-old woman. She is a widow and has a 22-year-old child who is no longer in school.

Afi has been working as a reseller since 2008. She sells eggs to all clients, from her home. She buys her goods in Lomé and works alone. At the moment, her main challenge is that she cannot build up a large stock of eggs.

Afi has requested her fourth loan from WAGES in order to buy some eggs. She wants to reinvest in the business.

In the coming years, Afi would like to increase the size of her business. She says that with the profits, she is planning to take care of her own healthcare needs.
