Totambola Malamu Plus Group's story

“Totambola Malamu Plus” is a group of 31 owners of small businesses chaired by Falga. Its members are jointly liable for loans granted by Kiva to grow their businesses.

Falga sells miscellaneous goods such as soft drinks, corn and cassava flour, palm oil, soaps, etc. He has been a micro-entrepreneur since 2011. He is a hard-working man who has demonstrated some abilities in business such as organization and good management. Falga is planning with the next loan to increase the stock of his goods in order to meet the high demand of his customers in his community. He is confident about his business. He knows how to attract his customers by offering what they need and like. He is also diplomatic when he talks with his clients. Falga’s business brings in about US $45 of profit per week. He is 21 years old and single. His dream is to become a wholesaler in his community.
