A loan of $750 helped to buy a juicer and a gas engine.

Reyna Isabel's story

Reyna is a very hard-working 28-year-old woman who lives in the city of Pucallpa together with her 3-year-old son. In her free time, she likes to go for walks with him around the warm and welcoming streets of the city. She often likes to prepare the delicious 'ceviche' (a fish dish marinated in citrus juices) and share pleasant moments with her family.

With a lot of hard work and commitment, and thanks to the support of a close cousin, Reyna works selling sugar cane juice. She works approximately 10 hours a day in her business and can serve up to 200 customers. She believes that her business is doing well thanks to her kind personality and the good customer service she offers.

Reyna is very grateful to Kiva lenders because, thanks to their help, she will be able to buy a juicer and a gas engine which she will use in carrying out her work. This will enable her to increase her income and guarantee the education and well-being of her young son so that, in the not-so-distant future, he can become a successful professional.
