Manusu Group's story

Fatmata is the leader of this group of entrepreneurs. She was born in the Bombali district of northern Sierra Leone. She is married to a tailor, and the couple has two children who are attending primary and secondary school. Fatmata bakes and sells breads. She has been in this business for five years now.

With the help of this loan, Fatmata and her group members will be able to expand their businesses, make more sales, and consequently improve their living conditions. Fatmata will use her share of the loan (1,200,000 Sierra Leonean Leones) to buy bags of flour, sugar, etc. in order to bake a larger quantity of bread to sell.
