A loan of $1,850 helped a member to buy clothes to sell.

Esperanza 1 Group's story

The group named “Esperanza 1” (Hope 1) is in the city of Concepción. It is comprised of 15 very hard-working women. All of them have a small business activity that they devote themselves to no matter how small it is.

Maria is a member of the group. She tells us that she sells all types of clothes. She says that starting out was a little difficult. Then she got a little experience, and it became a little easier for her. She now has very good clientele and good sales. It is going very well for her.

She is requesting the loan to buy all types of clothes. She will be able to stock up with the clothes, and this way she will be able to continue offering a variety to her customers.
